Energy and Water Saving Tips
Saving energy and water in your home does not have to cost you thousands of pounds, some are even free. Please see my list of energy and water-saving tips below.
Also, while I'm at your home, please don’t hesitate to ask for more tips and I will guide you to the best of my ability.

Fix Drips and Leaks
A dripping tap wastes at least 5,500 litres of water a year - enough to fill a paddling pool every week for the whole summer. Get all drips and leaks fixed!

Upgrade Old WC Flush
Upgrade your old WC flush to a water-regulated flush. This uses less water to flush a toilet. Dual flush valves are a great way of saving water!

Adjust Boiler Temperature
Turn your boiler water temperature down to around 55 degrees to save on energy costs.

Turn Off Lights
Turn your lights off when you’re not using them or when you leave a room. Upgrade to LED energy-efficient bulbs to save even more!

Use Your Washing Machine Efficiently
Use your washing machine on a 30-degree cycle instead of higher temperatures. Avoid using a tumble dryer when possible.

Take Shorter Showers
Keeping your shower time to just 4 minutes could save a typical household £55 a year on their energy bills.
